ABSTRACT
The paper describes the case of a female patient suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). This disorder is characterised by obsessions, recurrent troublesome thoughts and compulsions, ritualised behaviours performed repetitively in response to an irresistible urge. This article presents the therapeutic process based on L. Feldman's concept - integration of individual and family therapy. This is an innovative approach to clinical work. Individual, marital and family concepts and techniques are combined to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.
