TOWARDS THE PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC ORIENTED MILIEU COMMUNITY PSYCHIATRY - 30 YEARS OF THE KRAKOW EXPERIENCE

ABSTRACT
The author is inspired by the ideas of Antoni Kepinski and describes a programme of treatment and rehabilitation which integrates persons suffering from schizophrenia and their families into the community life of Krakow. The core of this programme, named, To get treatment, live and work in a local community, consists in a psychotherapeutic approach transferred to the community context. The work has been noticed and awarded in 2007 with the Pro Publico Bono award in the category of civic initiatives.

Aims of the project: Publication in Open Access mode on the Internet of English and Polish language versions of 8 consecutive issues of the journal Psychoterapia (years 2022-2024). Modernization and redesign of the journal’s website. Financing of the Editorial System. Copy editing and proofreading of journal issues. Counteracting scientific misinformation. Submission of electronic versions of the journal to the National Digital Library Polona and the Digital Library of Scientific Publications Academica.
