ABSTRACT
Social phobia (social anxiety disorder) is an anxiety disorder associated with significant impairment, and since the past two decades has been increasingly recognised as an important social health problem. The article is a review of literature on cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) for social phobia and includes a description of main CBT models, methods of therapeutic interventions, and a brief analysis of data from the studies on efficacy of this kind of treatment.
