ABSTRACT
The aim of the authors of the article is to describe the body work conducted with patients diagnosed with anorexia nervosa treated in the Child and Youth Psychiatry Clinic of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences. The authors rely on clinical experience, forming the base for defining their unique approach to treating patients diagnosed with psychic anorexia. The body work activities are conducted by a physiotherapist and are carried out in two stages. The first stage consists of stretching exercises and dynamic tape recording. The second stage focuses on presenting the film from the activities and discussing it in a group. The activities are carried out in homogeneous groups, during early stages of hospitalisation.
