ABSTRACT
A rationale of this essay was an attempt to summarise my personal almost half-a-century experience in training, clinical work, teaching and research in psychiatry. I tried to emphasise my obligations to my teachers, people who had introduced me into the essentials of sciences and knowledge psychiatry takes from to build understanding of mental health disorders and to develop methods of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation for people diagnosed as sufferer from mental health disorders. Using my own experience I tried to demonstrate meanders of psychiatric nosography and classifications. And, once more turn attention to senseless radical division between psychological and biological in psychiatry.

Aims of the project: Publication in Open Access mode on the Internet of English and Polish language versions of 8 consecutive issues of the journal Psychoterapia (years 2022-2024). Modernization and redesign of the journal’s website. Financing of the Editorial System. Copy editing and proofreading of journal issues. Counteracting scientific misinformation. Submission of electronic versions of the journal to the National Digital Library Polona and the Digital Library of Scientific Publications Academica.
