TREATMENT OF SEXUAL OFFENDERS - COMPREHENSIVE THERAPY PROGRAMME

ABSTRACT
The article presents the authors' concept of a therapeutic programme for sexual offenders to be implemented in hospitals and outpatients' clinics. It describes the main theoretical assumptions, objectives, the course of treatment, and the evaluation of the programme. Special attention is drawn to the structure of the programme (composed of stages) as well as the necessity of monitoring the risk of patients' recidivism and including in the therapy specific risk factors of sexual offences.

Submission of electronic versions of the journal to the National Digital Library Polona and the Digital Library of Scientific Publications Academica.
