Objectives:
The article presents the changing views
on issues of symbols and symbolism, paying
particular attention to the dynamic aspect of
formation and operation of the symbol.

Conclusions:
Reading symbolic meanings since the beginning of the analytical theory was something extremely important. Symbols regarded as an expression of mental life become stone cornerstone of psychoanalysis. However, even though intellectually tempting same quest for meaning symbols, there has been an essential prerequisite for further development of the theory and knowledge psychoanalytic.
