A CASE STUDY OF THE BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER PATIENT HOSPITALIZED IN THE PERSONALITY DISORDERS TREATMENT DEPARTMENT

ABSTRACT
The article is a description of the case of 19 years old female patient diagnosed as having a borderline personality disorder who was hospitalized in the Personality Disorder Treatment Department of Jozef Babinski Memorial Hospital in Krakow. The first part of the paper presents brief information about the Department and the process of admission to it. The next part describes the biography data of the patient and her previous treatment. Then the author presents a description of the individual, six months lasting process of psychoanalytical psychotherapy.
